COLECCION HISTORIA DE ESPAÑA Y SU PROYECCION INTERNACIONAL
Esta Colección pretende publicar trabajos de investigación relacionados con la Historia de España y su proyección internacional en todas las épocas. Inicia como lugar común para la edición de los libros resultado del Consejo Hispano Irlandés de Estudios Históricos, formado por el CSIC, la Real Academia de la Historia y la Royal Irish Academy (www.irishinspain.es). La Colección está abierta a otras publicaciones relacionadas con España y los españoles eminentes en el mundo, es aspectos políticos, religiosos, militares y culturales.
Fundada en 2011 por Vicente Soler y Enrique García Hernán,la editorial valenciana Albatros Ediciones ha incluido en su dilatada línea editorial la Colección Historia de España y su proyección internacional. Esta iniciativa surgió en 2011 de manos de Vicente Soler y Enrique García Hernán. Dirigida por este último, esta serie tiene como objeto fundamental la difusión de trabajos de investigación vinculados estrechamente con la Historia de España y su proyección exterior, desde sus inicios hasta la actualidad. Bajo el criterio único de la calidad científica, esta pionera colección ofrece una visión panorámica sobre las problemáticas y diversos aspectos de nuestra historia que aún están por descubrir. Desde la interdisciplinariedad, sus propuestas editoriales buscan hacer aportaciones novedosas para el conocimiento histórico y científico, desde amplias perspectivas de análisis y metodologías variadas: política, economía, religión, historia militar, historia social, historia cultural, historia de las mentalidades...

Their hearts and hands made solid bonds of friendship and kinship between Ireland and Spain. We build on those today and as we do we acknowledge the debt we owe to the scholars who continue the historical research that allows us not just to understand our past better, but allows us to understand our very selves better. For that reason, I particularly welcome the formal Declaration concerning the establishment of a "Council of Spanish-Irish Historical Studies" that is being signed in Madrid this week between representatives of the Royal Irish Academy, the Real Academia de la Historia and the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas. This Declaration affirms the strong commitment to maintain and develop future cooperation and provide a more effective advisory structure for the coordination and promotion of collaborative research projects (Universidad de Alcalá). La Declaración del Consejo Hispano Irlandés de Estudios Históricos fue firmada el 21 de marzo de 2011 por el Excmos Sr. D. Gonzalo Anes (RAH), Excmo Sr. D. Julián Rodrigo (CSIC) y el Professor Nicholas Canny (Royal Irish Academy).
In recognition of the major historical research projects, publications, databases, conferences and symposia that have been organized and conducted over the past fifteen years by Spanish and Irish scholars and academic institutions, institutionally and individually, concerning the archaeological, historical and cultural studies of the centuries-old relationships between Ireland and Spain and the Iberian-Atlantic World, it is proposed by the said scholars and the institutions that they represent, to establish The Council for Hispano-Hibernian Historical Studies, in order to continue this highly significant and valuable work that enhances the friendship and understanding between Ireland and Spain and supports the bi-lateral political, diplomatic, cultural, economic and humanitarian relations between the two countries”.
